Gatekeeping is Tearing Progressives Apart

Out of all of the annoying habits that The Online Left has, gatekeeping has to be my least favorite. Not only is it the absolute worst way to draw people into your movement, it does nothing but encourage superiority and tear people apart. I get why people do it. It’s so fun to be the person who has all the answers and controls who gets to join the club.
