I Don’t Miss the Former President

As we settle into some kind of new normal, or whatever passes for normal right now, I find myself coming back to what I used to find enjoyable about politics. Reading about different problems and how we can come together to resolve them. Yeah, it’s cheesy, but it’s more or less the politics I grew up with.

With the former President gone, I can read the news without a sense of anxiety and depression. I had honestly forgotten what that was like. To be able to read the news and just feel informed rather than terrified is a beautiful feeling.
