People Are Allowed to be Happy

One of the things that confuse me the most about The Online Left is their absolute refusal to enjoy anything. Something always has to be playing to the capitalistic society that encourages sexism, racism, ableism, and five million other problems in our society. It’s frankly exhausting just to be around it. I don’t know how you guys do it. And I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart, that you can like things.

You can like things that are “problematic” without writing a 5,000-word essay about why it’s okay to watch it. On a similar note, there’s no reason to hate-watch…
